RYAN J. TALAMANTE was born in Glendora, California in 1968, but has resided in Arizona since he was two years old. In 1990, he graduated from Arizona State University where he majored in Economics and was the recipient of a Hispanic Business Alumni Scholarship. He graduated from the University of Arizona College of Law in May 1993.
While in law school, he was a member of the Arizona Law Review and served as Executive Note Editor. In 1992, he published We Can't All Be Lawyers . . . Or Can We? Regulating the Unauthorized Practice of Law in Arizona, 34 Ariz. L. Rev. 873 (1992). During law school, he also received the award for Best Written Brief in the Fegtly Moot Court Competition, the AmJur Award for the highest score in Civil Procedure, and was the recipient of a Law College Association Scholarship.
His focus is in the area of commercial litigation. He is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Arizona and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
